No problem when apply skins via Display properties or Config. XP Home SP1 Yes, updated SkinStudio, and WindowBlinds. Happens with any skin, I just tried it with Abracadabra. Screen goes black almost instantly.

Since my last post I've continued to test this. Now I can't change skins by any method without getting the black screen. I'll roll back the WB update, and see what happens tomorrow.

The problem has been fixed with the new version 3.9.7 , Build 802

The roll back to the previous version of WB stopped the black screens/reboots, but now my system is really screwed up. Koasati is not a happy camper.....

I have the public beta of SS4... (3.9.6 [b]756) and whenever I try to 'Edit current skin' it says, "This pre-realease build of SkinStudio has expired, please visit skinstudio.net for a more recent version."

But I downloaded this file just yesterday...

I have just verified that indeed it has expired. We we will have an update for it in a while. In the mean time there are 2 solutions: push back the system clock by a month or so when you use it or consider buying a full version which never expires even in beta (if that's a sollution).
